NOTIFICATION FOR UNIVERSITY LEVEL ENTRANCE TEST FOR Ph.D. PROGRAMME-2011-12

Fakir Mohan University invites applications in prescribed Proforma from the candidates with Post-Graduate Degree securing at least 55% of marks in the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Law, Physical Education and other allied/interdisciplinary subjects to appear for Pre-Ph. D. entrance test (ULET Exam) for the Session 2011-12.

Candidates having a valid NET/GATE certificate in the concerned/ allied subject, holding M. Phil. Degree are exempted from appearing at the qualifying ULET examination.

The ULET Examination will be held in this University on the first week of April, 2012 for the following subjects & its allied/ inter-disciplinary subjects: Applied Physics & Ballistic, Bio Sciences, Bio-technology, Business Management, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, English, Environmental Science, History, Information & Communication Technology, Law, Mathematics, Odia, Physics, Physical Education, Political Science, Population Studies, Sociology and Urdu.

Application form and Information Sheet will be available on payment of Rs.1000/- in cash at the P.G. Central Office during all working days between 11.00 A.M. and 2.00 P.M. Candidate may download the application form from the University website www.fmuniversity.nic.in and send the filled up application with bank Draft of Rs. 1000/- drawn infavour of the Comptroller of Finance, F. M. University, Balasore payable at any nationalized Bank at Balasore.

· Application forms will be sold from 16.02.2012 to 10.03. 2012.
· Last date for submission of completed application form is 10.03. 2012.
· Application received after the last date (10.03. 2012) shall not be entertained.
· Application forms completed in all respect should be sent/deposited to the Office of
the Course Coordinator, Ph. D. Course Work, P. G. Deptt. of Population Studies,
