Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:

• Project title : Biochemical and functional characterization of SP_0845, a putative ABC transporter solute binding lipoprotein from Streptococcus Pneumoniae
• Post Details : Project Associate (One post)
• Qualification : Ph.D in Biological Sciences. Candidates who have submitted their Ph. D. thesis but are waiting for the thesis defense can also apply.
• Job description : Our current research interests are directed at understanding microbes in relationship to their host. The specific areas include host-pathogen interaction, virulence factors, microbial immunity and molecular microbiology of the bacterial human pathogen Streptococcus Pneumoniae. We apply a wide range of experimental technologies such as
• basic methods in bioinformatics, molecular biology, microbiology and immunology.
