Role: Bio-Technology Research Scientist

• The incumbent would be responsible for process development of recombinant proteins for regulated markets on both microbial and mammalian platforms
• Ensuring that the process designs are compatible for technology transfer and assist Manufacturing Operations in optimizing processes as per regulatory requirements
• Establishing operating ranges for process parameters to improve manufacturing techniques
• Handling process improvement, technology transfer, and process validation activities
• Supervising the development of new product processes and scale-up at the pre-clinical, clinical and large scale stages of drug development.
• Providing technical support to Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs in the introduction of new products.
• Mentoring direct reports, evaluate external partner technologies and evaluate analytical techniques
• Supervising and guide teammates/subordinates in R&D as well as Manufacturing in facing audits by regulatory agencies
