A Postdoctoral research position in Structural Biology is available to work on an NH&MRC funded project investigating the structure and interaction partners of tetraspanin-2 from the human parasite Schistosoma mansoni. This protein has been shown to be an effective vaccine target against schistosomiasis and will enter Phase I clinical trials in 2011.
