Junior Research Fellow post at Centre for Microbial Biotechnology P.U, Chandigarh.

Applications are invited along with complete biodata and attested copies of certificates of qualifications, experience etc. for the following purely temporary position in the research project under the DST’s “Purse” grant of the University in the Centre for Microbial Biotechnology which is tenable for a period of one year likely to be extended and co-terminus with the project. The amount of fellowship and eligibility will be as per DST norms.

Project Duration : Two Years
Project & Principal Investigator : ‘PURIFICATION, CHARACTERIZATION AND APPLICATIONS OF EXTREMOZYMES FROM EXTREMOPHILE/S’ under Dr. Rohit Sharma at the Centre for Microbial Biotechnology, P.U, Chandigarh.
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Life Sciences or equivalent with minimum 55% marks. Preference will be given to NET Qualified candidates. However, candidates who have Cleared the Panjab University entrance test (Biotechnology/Microbial Biotechnology/Microbiology) for Ph.D. will also be considered.
Emoluments : Rs 16,000/- per month (In case of NET qualified for JRF) & Rs 10,000 per month fixed: (In case of non NET qualified but who have qualified  P.U., Ph. D entrance test)
