Research Assistant post Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/ Fisheries at NBFGR

A walk-in interview will be held on 25.08.2011 at 10:00 hrs. at National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow for the following post on contractual basis under the project titled “Assessment of aquatic health using recent cellular and molecular tools in endocrine research” under the Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh. Only Indian citizens who are resident of Uttar Pradesh. Eligible and desirous candidate fulfilling all the requirements should come for an interview with application giving full details of academic records and experience(s) alongwith attested photocopy as well as original copy of the relevant documents and a passport size photograph. The other details are as follows:

• Name of Position : Research Assistant
• No of Post : One
• Duration : 3 years
• Emoluments : Rs 12,000/- per month for two years & Rs 14,000/- per month for 3rd year.
• Age : Not above 28 years as on April 1st 2011
• Essential Qualification : A first class M.F.Sc./M.Sc. Zoology (with Fish & Fisheries)/M.Sc. (Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Environmental Science) with at least 60% marks
• Desirable : Some working experience in histological, hormonal and molecular aspects in fishes.

General Instructions:
1.The eligible candidates may attend the walk-in-interview at NBFGR, Canal Ring Road, Post Dilkusha near Telibagh, Lucknow-226002 (UP) on August 25th 2011 at 11:00 A.M. along with complete bio-data and a recent photograph as per format given and original certificates/mark sheets/experience certificate etc.
2.The post is purely temporary and may be terminated as per decision of the Council or on the discretion of the Principal Investigator.
3.The Performa of application and related information is available in the office of NBFGR and on the web site www.nbfgr.res.in.
4.No objection certificate from the employer/university is required in case he/she is in employment elsewhere/doing Ph.D.
5.No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending the interview.
