A workshop on “Bioinformatics Applications in Genomics & Proteomics” is being organized on 5th _6th November, 2011 by Distributed Informatics Sub Centre (DISC), Department of Biotechnology, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

The details are as under:

No. of participants : 16

Eligibility : Faculty members/ Scientists/Research Scholars engaged in active research especially in the area of Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences will be given preference.

Preliminary knowledge of Window based Applications/Internet surfing is essential.

There is no registration fee for participation.

Last date for submission of application: 25/10/2011

Application on plain paper with a copy of CV, forwarded by the Head of Department should be addressed to the Co-ordinator, DISC, Department of Biotechnology, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. A copy through email will be appreciated. The selected candidate will be informed by email/telephone/fax.
